Wedge Press, Cross Break Sheet Metal

As Director of Product Development and Manufacturing at Cross Break Sheet Metal, I am responsible for specifying and implementing production methods and equipment that are scale and budget appropriate. I designed the components of this wedge press to be CNC milled and mounted directly onto an existing arbor press. The design incorporates material squaring/positioning features and the capability for adjustment to accommodate a broad range of depth in wedge geometry application. The press tool’s ease of use, accompanied by an integrated material support table, allows the operation to be processed by one person regardless of the workpiece material size.
